Life is for the living babes
While I set out to do this blogging project as a once a month check in, the pressure to posts been on the back burner lately. October is my favorite month, the weather has been incredible and I’ll be honest I’ve just been out there soaking it up.
A Caravaggio painting at The Met in NYC
Since my last post, we took a little trip to NYC. To say we had fun, is an understatement. Museums, music, food and the Lost Boys on Broadway. We crammed a ton into our time out there! If you want all the nitty gritty details, ask me about it next time you’re in the shop!
I came back to Minneapolis with a renewed appreciation of getting out and spending time with my loved ones. If you know me, you know I’m a homebody by nature. And while I can’t say I’m a true introvert, I needed a good shake up to get me outta my funk. Because at my core I love people and I love a good excuse to get out.
It all feels like it feeds into trying to be more tactile and intentional. Since getting home I’ve been on a good kick of spending time in my local park, drawing, getting coffee and visiting friends. By the way, did you know we are almost at peak colors in the metro area?? It’ll probably happen this week and the weather has been stunning so if you can find a time to get outside, do it!! Go check out the DNR page that tracks fall colors!
We’ve also been taking part in plenty of indoor activities as well. I feel like I’ve made a delightful return to seeing movies in theaters. Have you guys watched ‘You Can See Everything’ yet?? If not hurry up so we can talk about it!!!
Speaking of fall
Those of you that know, know that this is the best time of year to get tattooed because you don’t have to worry about summer FOMO while healing! And a big thank you to those of you who have been keeping me busy with so many fun projects!! If you’ve been itching to come in, my contact page is conveniently right here!
Until next month cuties! Happy Halloween!! Have all the spooky fun with your friends and don’t forget to Vote!!
Love you lots
-Cara
P.S. I’ll leave you with a fun spooky song from Twin Temple. Think Pasty Cline but haunted :)
